Rick sees Carol and embraces her. \"Poor thing fought her way into a cell,\" Daryl explains. \"Must've passed out, dehydrated.\" Beth brings the baby over, and Carol realizes Lori is dead. \"I'm sorry,\" she tells Rick tearfully as they hug. Michonne watches them from behind the bars.
Pablo arrives at the school at the height of the chaos. He runs into Kelly and knows right away something is not quite right. He just talked to Kelly and knows she is dead so whoever he is talking to, it is not Kelly. Pablo sees right through her lies and headbutts her. She reveals herself as Kaya. Pablo takes out his gun and Kaya tells him to shoot her but he has trouble pulling the trigger. Thankfully by the time she gets her hand on the gun, it is out of bullets.
We are led to believe that Brandy is dead but possibly not fully. She wakes up in the same realm that we saw Kelly in earlier in the episode. Is this where the dead are transported and is there a way for Pablo to use his powers to get them back That would also mean that Dalton is in there somewhere too. Brandy hears a similar noise that Kelly was threatened by and runs off. At least there is still story left to tell involving Kelly, Brandy, and Dalton.
The Unit investigates the death of a prep school student who was planning to bomb his school. They track down his partner and eventually uncover that the boys were molested by their swim coach and only planned to get back at him by blowing up his car. It is found that the dead student was in fact murdered by a man hired by the swim coach to cover up his crimes. The case gets personal for Halstead and he bonds with the young victim. Meanwhile, Olinsky's wife throws him out over his refusal to abandon his new daughter, leading him to move in with Ruzek, interrupting a date with Burgess. Atwater tries to get in good with a legendary police captain from another district.
Klaus has now been upgraded from the trunk to the front seat where he recaps all the awful things that happened to him and that his dad did to him to this new Reginald. The old man wants a fresh start and to help Klaus master his coming back from the dead power.
Meanwhile, at Ash's hardware store Zoe is still grieving over the loss of her fellow knights: no matter how much training and armament she and her fellows brought nothing in the world had prepared her for one real combat against actual deadite. Pablo discovers the real Kelly's soul is trapped within Deadlands through the seal written in Sumerian writing. Kelly, who is constantly being pursued by unseen evils, tells Pablo everything that happened to her from the previous episode and warns Pablo. Hardly having a time to mourn for the loss of his crush, He rushes to find Ash to break the news.
Pablo stumbles onto Kelly/Kaya but with his newfound power, Pablo realizes for certain that Kelly standing before him is not Kelly. Pablo subdues her and demands her who she really is at gunpoint. Once again speaking as Kaya, she tells him who she really is and approaches the armed young shaman, daring him to kill her if he can. Kaya, using Kelly's superior physical prowess, snatches Pablo's revolver from him and claims it as hers. Kaya then attempts on Pablo's life but the revolver she had gets run out of bullets, allowing the brujo especiale to escape. After surviving his near fatal encounter with Kaya, Pablo rushes to find Ash to tell him that the real Kelly is dead, only to run smack into Demon Ash who is hiding and waiting out. Upon physical contact Pablo realizes that Ash before him is not real Ash. Demon Ash then attempts to kill Pablo but the Honduran successfully fends him off, fighting their way back into the bloodied dance hall where real Ash, Brandy, Ruby and surviving students are congregated. 781b155fdc
