My daughter proudly showed me a new game she downloaded alone, and five minutes later it asked for chats and random links. I felt unprepared and annoyed with myself. Been there. My son once excitedly showed me a racing game he “handled himself.” Two screens later it wanted chat access and sketchy links. I felt dumb for assuming app stores were safe by default.
