Unexpected App Download
My daughter proudly showed me a new game she downloaded alone, and five minutes later it asked for chats and random links. I felt unprepared and annoyed with myself. Looking for a parental control software that controls downloads and permissions smoothly. Any suggestions from parents who dealt with this before?

Been there. My son once excitedly showed me a racing game he “handled himself.” Two screens later it wanted chat access and sketchy links. I felt dumb for assuming app stores were safe by default. What helped was putting guardrails on installs and permissions so I’m not reacting after the fact. I tried a couple tools and landed on SpyBubble because it lets me approve downloads and block extras quietly in the background. It didn’t kill his excitement, just kept surprises out. Way fewer “wait, what is this?” moments now.
