This blind spot is especially urgent as Vietnam edges closer to the middle-income trap—a stage where growth stagnates due to a lack of innovation, institutional reform, and high-value skills development.

Despite impressive industrial gains and global integration, Vietnam’s future competitiveness hinges not on cheaper labor or more exports, but on its ability to build adaptive learning systems, strategic governance capacity, and a management culture rooted in both innovation and identity.
